Why should we hire a wedding/event planner?

Having an event planner will give you the opportunity to collaborate, brain storm and often times save you money.  The average wedding takes anywhere from 200-300 hours to plan and can become a full time job.  By managing your budget, etiquette questions trends and unique ideas, and helping to find vendors that fit your personality and unique style, Great Expectation Events will help to plan the most memorable and special event for each client. Most importantly a planner will help to ensure that your event whether it is a wedding or trade show will run smoothly.  Your event should reflect your style and offer the opportunity for you to enjoy your event without the hassle of dealing with the details.

At Great Expectation Events we know that no two events are the same. We strive to make sure that every event is unique, and we approach each event with a different package and budget, making Great Expectation Events affordable to every event in the area. We offer flexiablity in the packages as well as our unique planning style are be able to fit each clients desires.  We love the business and therefore we want our clients to love their event as much as we love planning the event.

My wedding location or church already provides an onsite coordinator why do I need to hire someone else?

Many venues offer on-site coordinators, which are very valuable.  Often these coordinators are very familiar with the staff of the venue and how the venue will best operate.  However, they will not be able to offer you the many ideas and unique flair to your event as Great Expectation Events will be able to do. 

Also at Great Expectation Events we will be with you throughout your entire planning process, working with each vendor, as well as being with the client throughout the entire day of the event.  We will help to ensure that each detail of your wedding is not overlooked and this will allow us to incoporate your unique style and ideas.  Also on-site coordinators are not always with the bride and groom during their ceremony.  Great Expectation Events helps to manage the ceremony as well as organizing the rehersal.

Can I have my friends and family cordinate and help to plan my event?

Family and friends are wonderful and we encourage them to participate in the planning process.  However, we are able to save you time and money by finding out your desires and then matching them with the correct vendors in the area.  Often vendors will give our clients discounts by working with our company.   Also by leaving the stress and detail work to us, your friends and family are able to remain guests at your wedding instead of working.  

If we hire Great Expectation Events, will the event still reflect our personality?

Absolutely!  No two events are the same and our approach is to ensure that the event reflects our client.  One of the most important elements of your event is showing your style and unique personality.  Our company works with each client to provide them the opportunity to showcase your personal ideas and will ultimately reflect you.  Throughout the entire process the client controls every decision that is made.

Can I afford your services?

Absolutely. We custom each package to fit into your budget and desires.  Often along the way we will guide you to the vendors who will also fit into your budget needs.  Our inital consultation is absolutely free, and everyone can afford that!  The initial consultation will help us get to know your desires and personality and then we will work together with you to ensure that we deliver the best possible event for you.

How do I reserve a date?

A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a date and a signed contract.

How far in advance do we need to book a coordinator?

The earlier, the better!  We book up to two years or more in advance.  The sooner Great Expectation Events is hired, the sooner we can start saving you money and providing a stress free event.
